OMORI is a psychological horror RPG created by OMOCAT and their team,
released for PC and Mac at the end of 2020 and later ported to consoles
during 2022.
The game is pretty fun! It's got a great, if sad story, with endearing characters, charming artwork and like, super super good music.
The gameplay is good too! (especially coming from a girl who really doesn't play RPGs)
I adore how the Emotions mechanic changes up how you think about battles compared to most RPGs.
We strongly recommend that you purchase and play the game yourself before proceeding!

The Story - Part 1
You are Omori. He's a rather sad boy who doesn't emote a lot. Omori lives in White Space, and has been
for as long as he can remember. The only things in White Space are Omori's laptop and notebook, a blanket,
a box of tissues, a cat, a door, and a strange all black lightbulb hanging from... wherever the ceiling is.
Some days are for sleeping. Some are for going through the door.
Through the door, lies Headspace. It's a world created by Omori and his imagination. It's where his friends live.
In Headspace, Omori goes on adventures with his friends and sister, encountering the other inhabitants of the world,
and having fun.
But things feel a little off. As if you didn't always live in White Space. As if there is SOMETHING that is being hidden.
One day, you hear a knock at the door in White Space, and start to go on another adventure with your friends. You start by witnessing a card game, and
finding Aubrey's stuffed toy that Kel had hid from her. You, Aubrey, Kel, and Hero, decide to go and visit Basil and Mari, your other friend and sister, respectivley.
